The latest scans of King Tutankhamun’s burial chamber have put to bed notions of any hidden rooms or corridors.
AP News reports an Italian team used ground-penetrating radar and discovered no evidence of the suspected hidden man-made walls within the chamber.
The results were shared at the fourth International Tutankhamun Conference in Cairo by the Polytechnic University of Turin’s Francesco Porcelli who explained the team’s work “shows in a conclusive manner that there are no hidden chambers, no corridors adjacent to Tutankhamun’s tomb”.
